Valfaccenda rises on the hills of Roero, a geographical and historical region of Piedmont, located north of the province of Cuneo and a Unesco heritage site since 2014. The company, founded in 2010, is managed by the couple Luca Faccenda and Carolina Oggero; the two, in fact, renovated their grandfather's old farmhouse and, later, restored the family vineyards of arneis and nebbiolo.

Luca is an oenologist and has gained experience in a prestigious cellar in Barolo, while Carolina, before venturing into this business, worked in Turin as a graphic designer, so much so that today she is the one who designs the labels of their wines; the two currently manage about 4 hectares of vineyards and carry out a totally artisanal wine project. Their vineyards are divided into two vineyards, that of Santo Stefano Roero which, facing south, produces rich and fully ripe grapes, and that of Val Faccenda, which faces east.
