The Ballabio winery is one of the most historic production companies in all of Italy for what concerns the production of Classic Method. Located in Casteggio, in the province of Pavia, it owes its birth in 1905 to Angelo, a man deeply cultured from an oenological point of view, who immediately understood the great potential of bubbles within the Oltrepò Pavese area. Today at the helm of Ballabio we find Filippo Nevelli and his son Mattia, who, after having completely renovated the cellar, wish to take it to the next level, making it a point of reference in the world of sparkling wine in the Pavia area.
