The Orsolani winery is based in San Giorgio, a small town located in Canavese, in upper Piedmont. The winery was founded in 1894 by Giovanni Orsolani and his wife Domenica, who returned to Italy from the United States, where they had emigrated.

The vineyards today are located on the moraine hill of Caluso, particularly suited for the cultivation of vines thanks both to the composition of the soil rich in minerals from the glacial era and to the very mild climate. Four generations have succeeded at the helm of the winery, today it is managed by Francesco and his son Gian Luigi, who continue the work of their ancestors with great passion and competence.
