At the beginning of the 1900s, Angelo “Gele” Dogliotti cultivated Barbera and Moscato vines in Castiglion Tinella (CN) with the help of his sons Luigi and Remo. In 1956, the latter moved with his wife to Costigliole d’Asti, where he bought a small farmhouse in Valcioccaro, the current headquarters of the company.

In 1996, Remo’s son, Angelo, took over the management of the company. With his spirit of initiative and his intuition for the potential of the territory, he determined the real turning point. Together with his wife Daniela, Angelo changed the name of the company from “Dogliotti Remo” to “Cascina Ciuché” and began to work on the size of the estate, adding further plots year after year. Each of them is precious, in terms of exposure and composition of the soil, for the production of diversified grapes.
