The Damilano family's business dates back to 1890 when Giuseppe Borgogno, the great-grandfather of the current owners, began cultivating and vinifying his own grapes in the municipality of Barolo.
Giacomo Damilano, the founder's son-in-law, developed his work and love for his vineyards with passion together with his children, selecting and caring for them with skill and attention and improving the quality of the winemaking until it became a "jewel" to be proudly passed on to his grandchildren who - since 1997 - have been at the helm of the company, managing their ancestors' lands.
The fourth generation, composed of Paolo, Mario and Guido Damilano, has been able to give new vigor and impetus to the family business, strengthening and developing the fruits that such an extraordinary territory offers, with an impetus that is always projected towards innovation.
