The Vajra winery is located in the Vergne hamlet of the village of Barolo, in the heart of the Langhe area. It is a family estate, run by Aldo Vajra and his wife Milena with the collaboration of their children Giuseppe, Francesca and Isidoro, who have been following the various company activities for several years now, carrying on the tradition with passion and competence. Today Vajra is one of the most prestigious names in the denomination, which has been able to shine with a range of wines with a classic face, which interprets with extreme finesse and elegance the characteristics of an extraordinary terroir, which has been suited to viticulture for centuries.
The Vajra estate covers a total area of 60 hectares, with some particularly valuable parcels located in the Bricco delle viole, Costa di Rose and Ravera crus. In addition to the historical nucleus in the municipal area of Barolo, since 2009 Vajra has also managed the vineyards of the Luigi Baudana property located in Serralunga d'Alba, in the Ceretta and Baudana areas.
