Winemakers since 1800, now 4 generations, the Grasso Renzo is a small wine-growing company located in Calosso, in the Asti area. Today it is managed entirely by Renzo, with the help of his son Paolo, from the vineyard to the label.

There are just over 5 hectares of cultivated vineyards, of which 2.5 are vinified. Renzo believes a lot in the potential of native Piedmontese wines, he makes and bottles Barbera, Nebbiolo, Gamba di Pernice and Nascetta. The annual production is tiny, we are talking about around 1800 bottles.

In addition to the unusual Nascetta grown in the Monferrato area and the very rare Gamba di Pernice, the flagship wine is undoubtedly the "Castuglio", to all intents and purposes a Barbera Superiore with a year of aging in tonneaux and 6 months of rest in the bottle.
