In the center of the town of La Morra is the centuries-old Marcarini winery: the wine production of this family began in the second half of the 19th century. In the beginning the wine produced was intended for self-consumption and for a small circle of friends; it was at the beginning of the 1960s that the notary Giuseppe Marcarini decided to market his wines, thus starting the current company. In 1996 the company purchased a farmhouse in Neviglie which was then transformed into an agritourism, a farm surrounded by vineyards, which thus added to their beautiful historic plots in Brunate and La Serra. The management of the company has passed over the years to Anna Marcarini Bava, and is currently in the hands of her son-in-law Manuel Marchetti and her children Andrea, Chiara and Elisa. A story made of intelligent choices and effort, technique and intuitions; a story lived away from the hype: a story for all lovers of things done well, for friends.
The property has 25 hectares, divided between the Langhe and Roero.
