Frank Cornelissen is a winemaker of Belgian origin, who has become a major player in the Etna wine scene. The company was founded in 2001, when the Etna wine-growing area was still unknown to most, settling in Solicchiata, on the northern slope of Etna, and its vineyards, mostly trained as bush vines, are scattered in micro-plots like little jewels along the entire northern slope of the volcano, between 650 and 980 meters above sea level. Frank Cornelissen's wines are born from an inexhaustible creative streak placed at the service of the territory and nature, without giving in to compromises or shortcuts.

Alongside the most famous Etna vines, such as Nerello Mascalese and Carricante, Frank also uses forgotten native vines such as Minnella Bianca or Nera, Grecanico and Francisi. The grapes are harvested when fully ripe and the vinification takes place, according to ancient traditions, in terracotta jars buried in lava stone, without the use of additives or sulphur dioxide.
