The Vietti winery is based in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Langhe, one of the most suitable areas in the world for the production of great wines. Founded at the end of the nineteenth century by Mario Vietti, it began producing wines since 1919.

A fundamental figure in the development of the Vietti winery is certainly represented by Alfredo Currao, an oenologist who since the 1950s has selected and vinified grapes from individual vineyards, giving life, in 1961, to the first "crus": Barolo Rocche and Barbaresco Masseria.

But Piedmont is also synonymous with Barbera, another excellence of Vietti's production, and fine white wines.

Another peculiarity of Vietti's production is represented by the signature labels, a valuable initiative that involved artists of the caliber of Gianni Gallo, Pietro Cascella, Pier Paolo Pasolini and many others. The competence and foresight of men have been able to combine with the infinite potential of Piedmont: thus Vietti is today considered one of the most authoritative exponents in the varied world of wine and best represents the excellence of bottles made in Italy.
