Barolo Trasorì embodies a coherent return to the classic style of great Barolos. The project is the brainchild of Francesco Pimpinella and his wife, Beatrice, supported by the expertise of the Descours family—a prominent name in the international wine world, associated with houses such as Charles Heidsieck and Biondi-Santi. In the heart of Piedmont, they follow a clear philosophy: grapes are strictly selected from specific micro-terroirs, production volumes are kept very small, and their winemaking approach prioritizes precision over mere effect. The result is a Barolo of great concentration and inner balance, with excellent aging potential—a wine that does not simply copy tradition, but rather interprets it in a contemporary way at the highest level.
