The Ceschi Brugnoli family has always cultivated native grapes between the hills of Fumane and Sant'Ambrogio. The company owns six hectares, half of which are planted with vineyards, which lie on land whose nature is predominantly calcareous.

The business was started by the maternal grandfather, Angelo Perenzoli, a renowned local sculptor, hence the name "Ca' del Mato", given to remember the house and the inspiration of the grandfather who sold all the grapes grown.

After years of abandonment of the vineyards, in 2009, Stefano Brugnoli, an important Veronese financial broker, recovered the family vineyards together with his wife Claudia Ceschi. Thus began the Ceschi - Brugnoli winemaking reality which today has the production of approximately 18,000 bottles.
