The history of the Ferraris Agricola company began when Luigi Ferraris emigrated to America and found gold during the "Golden rush" in California. Thanks to these proceeds, the family had the opportunity to realize their dreams. In fact, in 1921 he purchased the house in Via al Castello in Castagnole Monferrato where the company was initially located and where the family's historic cellars are still located. Two years later, Luigi Ferraris planted the vineyards and purchased some barrels to be able to vinify his own production which, initially, was sold wholesale to traders of the time and, subsequently, in demijohns to private consumers. For generations, the family continued to follow the vineyards until, in 1999, thanks to a complete renovation of the old cellar, and the thinning of the Ruche grapes, they achieved enormous success.
