Pierre-Alfred Remoissenet, Compagnon Tonnelier and Courtier Dégustateur, founded Maison Remoissenet in Beaune in 1879. After the founder, it was his youngest son, Louis, who took over the family business. He was responsible for the acquisition, in the 1930s, of excellent vineyard plots in Beaune Premier Cru. Louis's son, Roland, succeeded his father and in 2005, with his retirement, left the company to Edward L. Milstein, an American with a passion for great Burgundy wines, the winery began a new chapter in its history. Bernard Repolt (former sales director of Maison Louis Jadot) formed a dynamic team, alongside the brilliant oenologist Claudie Jobard, and thanks to them, Maison Remoissenet Père & Fils can offer a complete range of the greatest appellations of the Côte de Beaune. The great terroirs of Gevrey-Chambertin, Savigny-Les-Beaune, Santenay and Pernand-Vergelesses are worked in accordance with tradition to produce great Burgundy wines.
