Cantina Valle Isarco is a benchmark producer of white wines in Alto Adige. Founded in 1961 by 24 winegrowers, it is now a cooperative comprising 135 members dedicated to cultivating vineyards—often steep and terraced—where much of the work must be done by hand.

The winery is based in Chiusa, in the province of Bolzano, in the heart of the Isarco Valley. This Alpine region is ideally suited to viticulture, thanks to significant diurnal temperature variations and climatic conditions that favor the ripening of white grapes. Consequently, the winery specializes almost exclusively in white wines, producing approximately 950,000 bottles annually, 98% of which are white.

Key varieties include Kerner, Sylvaner, Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Müller Thurgau, and Gewürztraminer. The winery’s style emphasizes freshness, aromatic precision, and minerality—qualities that perfectly reflect the mountainous character of the Isarco Valley. Alongside its classic range, the winery also produces premium selections, such as the Aristos line and the Sabiona *crus*.
