It is a gastronomic Pinot Gris, just like some white wines from Bourgogne.
The nose is powerful vanilla and on notes of ripe fruit, with a light woody and hazelnut note, the attack is rich and lively, the grape is fully expressed because the wine is dry and the mouth is full with a melted wood.
Wine aged from 10 to 12 months in cask, it looks more like a white Bourgogne than an Alsatian.
